Toasting Mr. Davidson, for the many years to come.

A great NYT article celebrating the life and work of Bruce Davidson in conjunction with his new exhibitions and a three-volume retrospective publication with Steidl this year...

NYT on Bruce Davidson – "Like a Plant, His Roots Are Showing"

Looking forward to seeing this set, as Davidson's publications/projects are consistently spectacular.  (Note the feat of craftsmanship that is his portfolio, Central Park in Platinum, with Verso Limited Editions.)

In the NYT Article, Randy Kennedy writes:
Mr. Davidson takes pains to emphasize that, retrospective or not, he has no intentions of winding down his career anytime soon. His mother is 98 and doing quite well, he said. Then he pointed to a long bank of shelves in his apartment filled with books of his contact sheets arranged by year, going back to 1954.

“I think I have space here for about another 10 to 20 years,” he said. “And then that’ll be it.”

...And, cheers to many more, Mr. Davidson.
