AT&T Commercial: Ripoff, not Tribute

Sick all weekend, I spent much of it on the couch watching reruns of chick flicks, intermittently getting up to make more soup.  Despite all channel changes, this advertisement seemed to be a constant during everything I watched.

With the recent passing of Jeanne Claude last month, I (like many others) thought it was some sort of tribute.  I actually got pretty excited about the possibility of AT&T being so art-savvy.  It's beautiful, for sure.

Alas, this post went up this morning and was a major buzzkill.
